Bulk emailing is not allowed here, we can’t take any risks with spammers.

And to answer you question: the PHP time limit is 20 seconds here and cannot be increased. Our servers are pretty zippy so 20 seconds is more than enough to do large tasks (like importing data). But if your software refuses to run with a (lower) time limit, then you’re out of luck.
