Hello.

Can we expect the hosting php engine upgrade withing few months or it will take longer, more than a year?

Impossible to say exactly, but:

  • PHP 8.3 was released on 23 November 2023
  • InfinityFree hosting was updated to PHP 8.3 on 30 April 2025

So its probably fair to guess:

  • Given PHP 8.4 was released 21 November 2024 (I think, some sources say 10 April 2025…)
  • We’ve probably got till about April this year at a minimum

That said, Only Admin can provide a truly accurate answer.

  1. Admin won’t have any ideas about this as well because ultimately it is iFastNet who are upgrading PHP versions, not Admin.
  2. I somehow believe that iFastNet upgrades PHP versions according to this:

I’ll be honest, I just kind of assumed that IFastNet would have that information available to their hosting customer haha.

That would make sense
