Page links taking me to 404 page

**My website URL is:**http://brancranfam.epizy.com/crandallfamilyrecords.html

What I’m seeing is: I either dont see the following links click on the Articles and Books about the Crandall family link and it takes me to a 404 error page.

It takes me to the following page the 404 errors page.

I’m using this software: I am using the infinityfree file ftp uploader to load the files. Sometimes the file disappears and I have to upload it again and other times the links dont appear. When the links do appear and I can pull the page up, I get taken to https://infinityfree.net/errors/404/

Uploaded both trying filezilla and the infinity web site ftp manager.

All of your links are working fine for me. You might want to refresh your browser cache.

which links that redirects you to 404? I’ve found two of them in http://brancranfam.epizy.com/ArticlesCrandall.html

The links on the page http://brancranfam.epizy.com/ArticlesCrandall.html also redirect to the 404 page as well. The reason for this is simple, the URL points to http://brancranfam.epizy.com/earlycrandallhistory.html, but there is no file earlycrandallhistory.html in your website. Can you please verify that the file name is correct and that the file was uploaded successfully to your account?

After posting this, I noticed that the file in question ArticlesCrandall.html kept disappearing from my file and when it wasn’t disappearing the links on the page crandallfamilyrecords.html kept disappearing. I tried uploading all the files using filezilla and then with the uploader provided by infinity. They still disappeared. I wondered if it was to big regarding file size limits but couldnt find out what size file was allowed. This is just nuts that pages and links are being deleted from my site. I wish I knew if it was something I am doing.

Really confused. I updated my google because it said I needed to but the web site wont pull up but on edge it pulls up and works.

Here is the update. I checked Microsoft edge and my web site pulls up and works just fine. All the pages I have uploaded work. On google, however, the background doesnt show up but shows up on all of the other pages. The links for early crandall history and ArticlesCrandall do not work. I really wonder if its something I am doing.

You will be glad to know that I solved my problem by resetting google chrome itself. Thanks to everyone who tried to help.

There are cases where files may be discarded when trying to upload them. This article is a mostly complete list of the cases where this could happen. Can you please check whether any of these explanations applies to your file?

Thanks for the article. The problem seemed to cure itself when i used the file uploader provided by infinity and not filezilla.

Now I am back to the original problem. Going to research the database again. there has to be a reason I get those pages to come up

This is getting really frustrating. I deleted the web site and uploaded it to a new account and it is doing it again with different pages. I also installed coppermine to my site and only one link will work. I should be able to have multiple links to a a page right?

So which files are you actually having trouble with uploading? Could you upload those files somewhere else temporarily and link them so I can try to upload them to see why it doesn’t work?

i actually solved it by deleting web site and reloading it. it works fine now. Sorry for taking so long letting you know.
