One mail stuck in inbox

Please see to my email id…the inbox is stuck and not opening up. It shows one unread email but the inbox is not opening up

Again, the email system is quite broken right now. If it works for some of your email accounts, lucky you! But we're not going to invest time into fixing individual mail boxes on a system which is going to be dumped soon anyways.

Again, the email system is quite broken right now. If it works for some of your email accounts, lucky you! But we're not going to invest time into fixing individual mail boxes on a system which is going to be dumped soon anyways.

I'm sorry, but what would you like me to say or do instead? I'm responsible for 250,000 hosting accounts, and I only have a finite amount of time I can spend on all of those accounts.

What would you do if you were in my shoes? Would you rather invest your time into a permanent solution which helps all of the hundreds of thousands of people who are waiting for something to replace the current, flaky email system? Or would you invest your time into a short term solution for one specific email account for one specific person, knowing that it will only delay a permanent solution?

And if you say "but my email is so important and I need it to work today, I don't care about all the other people", then who is being truly arrogant here?

I'm sorry, but what would you like me to say or do instead? I'm responsible for 250,000 hosting accounts, and I only have a finite amount of time I can spend on all of those accounts.

What would you do if you were in my shoes? The replies couple of weeks back showed the arrogance of you telling the customers that if you wish to move to other service providers you can. 

I do understand the criticality of working for permanent solution and this is what you guys had assured last time the server was down. I dont know what long term solution to you means.. Is it from problem to problem? which though occurs every couple of weeks.

I very well know I am not paying but at the same time you had assured of services an if you can provide services beyond hoisting services then you should disable the functionality over and above that so that users should not be able to use so and hence not raise the complaint which seems useless to you.

Well your assumptions about me either thinking i want my solution and i dont care for rest of the people or short term solution in itself shows who is trying to be arrogant. 

I hope if you would have invested time in setting systems right than there arrogant replies things would have gone high for your organisation Branding. 

Here comes the suggestion If you think you can build brand(Despite 250,000 hosting accounts)by writing such replies and not focusing on solutions then I am sorry you are going downhill for sure.

I would like to clarify that the email system, like most parts of the hosting service, is built and maintained by iFastNet. I am forced to rely on them to address and fix these issues, and to provide me with the information I need to help you and keep you informed.

To my knowledge, a permanent solution for the email system issues has not yet been implemented. Plenty of temporary patches and workarounds have been applied to keep the current setup running as well as it can, which is why it has been sort-of running for a few months now. But until a permanent solution has been applied, you can expect more issues like these.

Sadly, I don't know how soon such a fix is ready and running. I can't even provide any certain guarantees it will be done at all. That's because all I have are the promises I've received from iFastNet, and all I can really do to fix this issue is to complain to them and hope that they will invest enough effort to build a proper solution as far as reasonably possible.

I probably hate this just as much as you do. But have very little extra abilities to fix this more than you do.

I'm not entirely sure which assurance you are referring to. "It's a known issue pending a permanent solution" has been the official statement from the start as far as I can recall, although the time it has taken to implement this is far beyond what I had expected.

However, I believe I asked a question which I can't say I have received a clear answer to. What would you say or do if you were in my shoes? Would you make promises you know you couldn't keep? Deny there are issues in the first place? Shut down the entire hosting service? What would you do?
