Hola Jenny, tengo el mismo problema que vos al momento de tu consulta.
Quisiera saber si pudiste solucionarlo, y como? para yo aplicar la misma solución.
Te comento que he probado en mi localhost y todo funciona correctamente, pero al momento de pasarlo al servidor las imágenes se rompen.

Now if you linked to http://localhost:8000/path/to/my/good/awesome/image.jpg then that would be a problem

But your images are working correctly so just a heads up.
