Issue: Nameserver Updation Is misbehaving, when I used A, it only updated in some dns region and in some , NS are coming in NS1.INFINITYFREE.COM & NS2.INFINITYFREE.COM
Mean in some region , it is showing in Upper Case ,same for nameserver of byet.org
and this ns are only updated in 2-3 region, rest all show “×” , and waiting for more than 72 hours does not fix ,because sometimes it gets sticked , same issue I had with devapps.qd.je , after long waiting of 1 week, I had to shift to DigitalPlat Free Domain NS, and updation was quick, same i shift school.it.eu.org to Cloudflare, so it updated quickly. Is there is any problem in Nameserver for new domain?
Upper case or not does not interfere with DNS. For me the nameservers are pretty reliable and I’ve just setup a domain sometime ago so it shouldn’t have any issues.
Do note that the system does not accept sub-subdomains as I recall, so you are probably not be able to add school.it.eu.org.
As of DigitalPlat it seems to be their own problem in handling nameservers.
*.it.eu.org is available in Public Suffix List, but if we directly add domain in Vista Panel for it,we will get too many dots error, we can request iFastNet Support to add,they will do because earlier they have done for similar subdomain of. it.eu.org for me, but now, I want to know the information regarding why is this NS problem i am getting, because it is not limited for eu.org but also same for DigitalPlat
To be honest I don’t quite understand what is the “NS problem” you are getting. Could you try phrasing your issue more properly, and provide screenshots of what you are seeing, and what you expected to see?
By NS Problem, I mean whenever I am updating nameserver of domain to InfinityFree Nameserver or Byet Nameserver, it is getting update only on 2-3 region, i have waited for more than 5 days, but it didn’t resolved, only 2-3 were showing nameserver of InfinityFree/Byet, rest all are either showing old or not found. I have checked from various DNS Checker, for example dnschecker.org, which clearly shows on which which my MS are there and not there.
This problem is only having for me on Nameserver of InfinityFree or Byet, I have tried with Cloudflare and DigitalPlat , there nameserver are getting updated within 3 days only for same domain.
I’m not quite sure I see the problem. You should never be changing your nameserver records, so if it takes a bit to propagate across the internet that’s fine. DNS propagation can take up to 72 hours, and some providers may extend that time depending on how caching is setup.
There is no DNS update problem at all. The reason that dnschecker.org says your domain is not working is because it isn’t work, and the very simple reason for that is that the domain is not setup in our nameservers yet. And it’s not setup because the domain is not added to an account.
So why does dnschecker.org say your domain is not pointing to our nameservers? That’s because it’s not what you’re asking for. You’re asking for the NS records of your domain name. That will tell you the NS records returned by the authoritative nameservers of your domain name. In the happy path, those are your nameservers. But right now, your domain name does not have authoritative nameservers at all, so “nothing” is the right output and any resolver saying anything else is making stuff up.
A DNS lookup with trace tells you the different nameservers in the path of your domain, and show that your domain is pointing to ns1-5.byet.org.
If I am not wrong, then byet nameserver also work for domain hosted on InfinityFree? Or only ns1.infinityfree.com & ns2.infinityfree.com will work for InfinityFree? Because whenever earlier , i checked any custom domain of mine hosted on InfinityFree, byet nameserver along with InfinityFree namserver also appear?
