No email after switching to cloudflare

I set up a personal blog at http://infinityfree.net
the blog site is https://diywebsite.ml
The emails were working fine, until we switched to cloudflare to offer CDN and possible faster load times for the site

That’s because you are using the Control Panel’s Cloudflare integration, which breaks MX records and subdomains. To receive emails while still using Cloudflare, you must disable Cloudflare from the Control Panel and add the domain directly from the Cloudflare dashboard, changing the nameservers to their ones.

after disabling cf from the free control panel, I have waited 24 hrs. cf continues to say d_n_s is controlled by cf partner…

BTW control panels are at free, at cf, and w_p (site). All have been deactivated. Account at cf still says d_n_s is controlled by cf partner…

So after the propagation wait, c_name records at cf should reflect free acct, and also the m_x record should be installed at cf?

Is there complete documentation on how to use cf on the free acct? Does it document the m_x record ? All of this from the free perspective?

It’s possible that disabling Cloudflare in our panel doesn’t properly remove the domain from Cloudflare. Can you attempt to remove the domain from there yourself?

Officially, using third party nameservers is unsupported, including Cloudflare. We do have some articles which may help to figure out some necessary things like the IP address of your account, but they assume that you know how to manage your own DNS records (or are willing to figure it out for yourself).
