No 'A Records' in place

I have registered the above domain with Name and pointed the domain to Infinityfree. However, I am told it is not working because there are no ‘A Records’. Being a novice, I do not even know what these are! Is anyone able to advise what I need to do please. I haven’t yet started building my website. I just wanted to take a Wordpress course but can’t start this without the hosted site. Below is extract from email from name.com

The solution is very simple: just create a hosting account!

Simply login to your client area and click the Create Account button. In there, enter your domain name (as a Custom Domain) and fill in anything else you need.

As soon as your account is created, the appropriate DNS records are automatically setup in our nameservers for your website to work.

Please do not that due to DNS caching, it can take up to 72 hours for your website to be accessible from everywhere.
