New interface of File Manager failed to upload index.html. the index.html file is gone after uploading. Now I need to rename the index.html file to index.txt and then upload it and delete the index.html on the server, then rename the index.txt file into index.html file for my index to work.
Did you check if any of the explanations for this article might explain the issue?
the index.html file is uploaded to the domain specific htdocs folder and it is deleted immediately afterwards. Same problem would not happen when the file name is “index2.html“ or “index3.html“.
I checked your account and I see you have an index.html file already.
But I checked that index.html file, and I see it’s over 1 MB. I’m surprised you were able to upload it at all because, as that article says, it should not be possible to upload files of that size. Your index2.html and index3.html files are smaller, so they don’t have this issue.
Are you trying to upload the current index.html, or a different file like index2.html or index3.html? And how exactly do you suppose it’s “deleted immediately” when the file is actually there?
