Hi everyone!

I just got to know about InfinityFree and got some questions along.

1: Why does InfiniyFree provide free hosting?
2: Can I just host my subdomain to host my blog’s files here?
3: Will it run fine if I host downloadable files? (because it consumes bandwidth)
4: Does its server sometimes go down or not?
5: Does it offer cPanel or any other control panel?

  1. It’s on the main website infinityfree.com. Although it all started as a mere hobby.
  2. Yes. That is to say, if you just want a custom subdomain, you’ll need to do some extra steps.
  3. No, file sharing type sites is against the rules.
  4. All servers goes up and down. The servers here in my own experience is quite stable though.
  5. There is of course a control panel, but it isn’t the cPanel like you’d imagine.

I just have to host 1 file, which is less than 25 MB in size. will it be possible please?

Rules are rules, and they’re not something to be made exceptions of.

But anyways, I’m not even a staff. It’s definitely useless to ask that to me after all.

We provide a website hosting service, not a file sharing service. To help enforce that, there is a 10 MB file size limit on our hosting (regular website files are never that big).

If you have a website and want to offer a file to download, you could simply link to your file on a file hosting service from your website with us.
