my website shows "Congratulations! Your website is up and running"

hi hope you’re fine
i created a website (a wordpress website) and uploaded all my files
i uploaded the database changed the site url in wp_options
i changed the database info in wp_config.php
but still my website doesn’t show up
am i missing something
looking forward for your help
thank you, have a nice day

which folder or subfolder did you put wordpress, its usually /htdocs/wp,so to access it navigate to [your_domain]/wp or simply delete the index2.html inside /htdocs/ and naviagte using folder

hey thnx for your help
i putted my website inside “htdocs” and deleted index2.html

If you’re seeing a page saying “Congratulations! Your website is up and running! Here are some tips to get started with your new account”, that means you’re looking at the default index2.html page. If you added a index.php or index.html file to the htdocs directory, you should not see that page anymore.

I see you have multiple accounts. Are you sure you uploaded the website to the right account and directory?

yes i uploaded the files to the proper account i just created the second one since i couldn’t access my files in the first one with the online file manager nor with ftp and i needed to answer “siddht1” about the upload directory and i forgot the name “htdocs” that’s all the second account doesn’t have anything in it

OK, so is it fixed now or not? And if not, with which account of the two do you experience this problem?

it’s not fixed yet and here is the website i’m talking about playmania.rf.gd
please help me fix it soon since my clients are expecting the website to be up and running by tomorrow
thnx

I have the same problem, I delete index2.php and after I use Softaculous>Joomla, I don’t change nothing in the configuration, only I change IMPORT SAMPLE DATA, and I add spanish in add language, when finished, I click in the URL and exit message “Congratulations! Your website is up and running! Here are some tips to get started with your new account”, if I do same with the Admin URL, the message is 405 - HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.

What can I do?? because I install and remove 2 o 3 times Joomla, and all time same.

Thanks you.

Now, I can to see my example website, but only I can to enter from admin url and after inside the panel control Joomla, go to my websile, other problem that I have if when I move inside panel control Joomla, on menus and clicks… sometimes send me to the website “Congratulations! Your website is up and running! Here are some tips to get started with your new account”.

Do you think if I use the Joomla from official website and I don’t use the Softaculous is better??

Thanks you.

I checked the htdocs folder of the account related to playmania.rf.gd, but only the default content was in there. No website specific content was uploaded there. Make sure to upload your website files to the right account and the right folder.

@TitanPR What’s the domain?

Admin that’s because i’m facing another problem now the account has been suspended for no reason
it says it contains some unallowed files or i don’t know
my content in 200% safe it’s an online shop that’s it
now i sent a request to get my account back online
sorry to say this guys but seriously what’s wrong with your system!

There is always a reason why your account is suspended. The reason may be a false positive, something you don’t agree with is bad or even something you were not aware of was on your website, but there is always a reason. We never suspend accounts for “no reason”.

Free hosting unfortunately attracts a lot of abuse, which is why precautions like these are necessary, and we’re constantly working to increase the accuracy of our abuse detection system.

As for what’s “wrong” with our system: the only thing we’re doing “wrong” is we offer free hosting. We let everyone upload their own website files without any payment and hardly any verification. We’re completely insane for doing that! Everything else is just additional measures we take to make that insanity work. We can “fix” that by kicking out everyone who doesn’t pay and require a payment up front. Do you want us to “fix” our service?

as an update i want to say that my account is back online since there was nothing wrong with it and it was a false suspension
2nd i don’t think the way you talk to clients is the best way regarding this is a big company with many customers paid and free, and about offering free hosting you’re not the only one doing that and if you didn’t do that perhaps no body would have ever heard of “Infinityfree” so this is a commercial strategy and just to let you know i’m not some random person looking for free hosting for fun i’m a business holder and i was trying you service as a trial before buying a domain for my shop, but since i see that it has been more then a week now and the support couldn’t even help me out with a simple problem i’m worried about the quality of the service you offer and i’m starting to reconsider my decision about buying a premium plan
so yeah maybe you should try and “fix” your service, maybe then things will go better
my best regards

@Vazili You don’t want your account to be suspended as a false positive and you say we should fix it and prevent it from happening. At least, that’s the only thing you pointed out as an issue when you said “what’s wrong with your system”.

The truth is that the automatic abuse filters is pretty much the thing keeping us from being put in jail as an accomplice to mass hacking and child pornography. It’s quite easy to abuse a service if you can sign up with very little information and upload your phishing site which stores the stolen credentials in a file or sends it by email. Approx. 10% of all signups are actually malicious content, like phishing sites, mail bombers and so on. And the abuse filters allow us to stop these crimes before they can harm people.

In the ideal world, we’d have filters with perfect precision and recall. All abuse being stopped and no legitimate accounts being affected would save us a lot of time as well. Which is why we’re always trying to perfect our system. But until it’s done, some accounts will be suspended unfairly.

If you have any suggestion on what’s wrong with our system and how we could fix it, I’d love to hear it.

i’m very happy to hear that and i totally understand what you’re saying and wish you guys best of luck but i’m not complaining about that suspension because it got fixed quickly and i really appreciate it, what i’m complaining about unfortunately is the fact that i’m facing a problem with my website and we couldn’t fix it yet, it’s been more then a week now that my website only shows the congratulations page, even tho i followed all the instructions, i deleted index2.php, uploaded my database uploaded my files, but still i can’t open the website properly
hope we’re gonna fix it soon
thank you

@Vazili I’ve check playmania.rf.gd many times, but there is no website content on that account. Only the default files are in the htdocs folder of the account rfgd_20138220. As soon as you upload your website files to the correct account and folder, you’ll find it works perfectly.

here it is all the content is already uploaded

This is what I see on rfgd_20138220:

Can you open the file manager and copy the URL that’s in your address bar? This is the address bar for me right now: https://infinityfree.net/accounts/167035/files
