**I’m using this software:**chrome, firefox, wordpress

Additional information:

recently some ssl certificate issue came up in infinity free websites same time my website also had issue, i follwed instruction and put ssl certificate to flexible in cloudflare and https to http but still i cannot load my site. too many redirects is error shows up.

This is a known issue caused by WordPress in combination with Cloudflare Flexible SSL.

In short, with Flexible SSL, you connect to Cloudflare using HTTPS and Cloudflare connects to your hosting account with HTTP. If WordPress is configured to use HTTPS, it will detect that the incoming connection doesn’t use SSL, and attempt to redirect the visitor to a SSL connection. Even if you (as a visitor) are already connecting over SSL yourself.

I don’t have a sure fire way I can tell you to fix this, but can you please try the following?

  1. Disable any page rules or Always Use HTTPS or HTTPS Rewrites functions in Cloudflare.
  2. Open your website over HTTP: http://101studentlife.ga/ Note that you may need to try this in private browsing mode in case your browser has cached the redirect.
  3. Open your WordPress settings, go to General and change the Website URL. Change your website URL so it uses http:// (so NOT https://).
  4. Enable “Always Use HTTPS” in Cloudflare.

After this, you can try to open your website again. This should not result in any redirect loops. If you see your website content load, but styling, scripts and images ar missing (or you just get a Not Secure message), you can try to enable “Automatic HTTPS Rewrites” in Cloudflare as well.

Note that I haven’t tested this method myself yet, but I think this could work. I would really like to work with you to find a solution for this problem, so please let me know whether this worked or not.

i tried what was told, but my website is not loading, it is taking very very long time, then it says 101studentlife.ga redirected you too many times.i cleared all cookies cache, but still same result, i diabled all page rules on cloudflare and also diabled always https, still site is taing ver long to load and shows same error msg. how long will it take infinity to fix it. in theory what instruction were given seems logical but still it doesn’t work, i can understand that giving this services free is not easy but i hope u will fix this issue soon. thank you

now my account is suspended temporarliy i dont know why, my site is not functional still it hit cpu limit cannot understand this part.

Because maybe you have too many plugins.

Read this.

The redirect loop you get stuck into is caused by WordPress. So you may get dozens of hits to WordPress before your browser gives up. All of these hits generate CPU load, which might cause this.

As for the fix I proposed, where exactly in the process did you get stuck? When trying to access your website insecurely. Because if so, please make sure to access the page through a private browsing window. The clear cache options in Google Chrome are notable for only clearing some and not all caches. SSL cache and redirect cache are notable exceptions, and it’s that last one which you need to circumvent.

So skip the clear cache buttons and use a private browsing window to bypass cache.
