I’ve seen more signs recently suggesting that the Iranian government is stepping up their internet filtering policies and blocking or rerouting traffic. Seeing how it only happens from within Iran, I suspect it’s related. Another possible explanation is that your website is infected with malware. Some malware targets specific audiences and remains silent for other visitors. However, since the redirect goes to an internal IP address, it means that either the attacker is an idiot, or the block is happening within your network or the network of your ISP, where whoever is doing this can setup a site within the internal network, which seems like the more likely solution. Regardless, there is not a lot we can do from our side: - If it’s a network block on your end (most likely), then the request never reaches our server, so there is nothing to see on our end. - If it’s malware (unlikely), then it’s still your responsibility as the website owner to identify the malware, clean it up and secure your website.
