Move_uploaded_file() bug

Website URL

I was doing some experiment in this link

I kept uploading files 10mb files into it but it infinitely free ftp did not stop me and they did not delete my file. However, when I upload a file into file manager directly, it will say I am out of quota even if it is an extremely small file.

my conclusion

InfinityFree’s ftp only checks the size of the file if you are directly uploading it in file manager, they won’t care if you use move_uploaded_file(). If you are watching this forum, please go to my page and upload large files that are bigger than 10mb.

If you have an idea for what is going on, please tell me. :slight_smile:

as far as i am aware the files will eventually be deleted

I created a test file containing 20MB of zero’s and I am currently uploading it to your site, seems to be taking some time :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah but when I use move_uploaded_file() in php it lets you post infinite files.

Or maybe I think so…

I see this message now

Array ( [name] => size-test [full_path] => size-test [type] => application/octet-stream [tmp_name] => /tmp/phpH3NYDc [error] => 0 [size] => 20971520 )

:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: it take some time

This is when you post a file, I made so that I can view the file size and information

It did not delete your 20mb file for some reason.

check again tomorrow :smiley:

Ok :slight_smile:

btw be careful, someone could upload something that goes against infinityfree’s terms and get you banned

worst still it could be something illegal and get you some time in jail !
