i renamed my site using monstaftp but upon visiting infinityfree filemanager stiil the already renamed folder still exists in infinityfree domains list yet the new renamed folder doesnt appear in infinityfree domains list but when i also visit infinityfree file manager, i can view the new renamed folder but upon opening the link site says error 404.. Also the system wide ssl is not working since even before renaming the folder name the site used to open in http by default not https..how do i resolve these issues?
DO NOT SHARE THE FILE MANAGER URL ON THE FORUM! It contains your hosting account password in an encrypted form. Anyone with access to that URL can access your files. I have reset your hosting account password. Just don’t use the password you used before.
As for your questions, there is a single answer to all of them: the domain nextgeneration-churches.great-site.net is not assigned to your hosting account.
You can see the list of domains assigned to your hosting account in the client area by checking the Domains list of your account. As you can see, this particular domain is not in the list.
The file manager only shows that you have a directory with that name. But you can create a directory with the name google.com without any issues, but you cannot claim a website that way.
If you want to use that subdomain, you’ll have to add it to your hosting account. You can also do that through the client area, just click the Add Domain button at the top of the domains list.
