Hi, I’m having an ongoing issue adding my domain as noted in the title. Registrar (Namecheap) confirms nameservers are set to [ns1.infinityfree.com](http://ns1.infinityfree.com) / [ns2.infinityfree.com](http://ns2.infinityfree.com), no locks, DNSSEC off, fully propagated. InfinityFree still shows: “Domain is not assigned to an InfinityFree account.” I’ve tried creating an account via the Custom Domain option, but it does not attach. Could you please manually assign the domain to a hosting account, or provide the TXT record / file‑based verification method so I can complete verification?

Nobody says that changing the nameservers add a domain to an account.

To add a domain to an account, you need to actually add it to an account.

I don’t know what experience makes you think so, because it’s not possible to create an account with a custom domain any more.

The domain is **[revisalis.com](http://revisalis.com)**. When I try to create an account for it, InfinityFree shows the message: **“The domain is not assigned to an InfinityFree account. Please add the domain to a hosting account to show a website on it.”** I don’t get any other detailed error message during the process — it simply doesn’t attach to an account.

This sounds quite contrary to me.

Because that error message is only shown when you **check** a domain, not to **add** a domain.

I think you misinterpreted things. You think you are adding a domain but you are probably just checking it all the time.

TL;DR

**Thank you so much for the clear explanation! 🙏** I must admit, I was enthusiastically checking that domain like it owed me answers 😅 — turns out I was just barking up the wrong interface. Your guidance helped me finally get it right. Really appreciate you taking the time to lay it out so clearly. Much gratitude!
