Lost data in new Subdomain

**My website URL is: http://jmueller.freecluster.eu

**What I’m seeing is: No Data

**I’m using this software: No Software

Additional information:

Problem: A complete Backup (*tar.gz) was in this subdomain. Its complete Lost. I need this Backup!
Can you help me?

There is a file size limit of 10 MBs. Larger backups can’t be downloaded even if they are in the tar.gz format; you need to own them next time!

Is there any Possibility to recover this file?

It was uploaded as single FIle, its from my other server.

Then download it from the other server again and keep them on your computer. There is an article on the Knowledge Base that has the limit that cannot be increased and you had to upgrade to Premium Hosting, unzip it and upload them or upload them to MediaFire, Google Drive or others to upload big files.

Its not possible, cause i reinstalled it.

But there was no warning or other things like an error… Why was there no error?

Then you will have to reinstall the site again. I’ve told you to have a backup on your own, not in a server that is reinstalled!
There was no error because it was deleted without a notice. If you uploaded a file and it was not completed then it would give an error, but it was deleted automatically without a notice or an error.

There was no error because FTP doesn’t provide a way to enforce file size restrictions. These restrictions are enforced on the server after FTP has accepted the file.

This is why some uploading scripts upload the file first, and then check the file on the server afterwards to make sure the file is present, is the right size, etc.

But if you uploaded the backup to our server, didn’t verify the backup was successfully uploaded, and then deleted the source material, then I’m sorry to say your content is gone.

This is why it’s a good idea to keep the old data in tact whenever possible and only delete it after the migration has been completed and fully confirmed to work.
