Hi all,
In my profile I have two accounts. The first account I created a year ago. Now I create the second one. When I try to go to “Control panel” of the second account by the green button “Control panel” I go to login page of the Control panel but I have this message: “We are unable to log you in with the information you provided. Please check your username and password and try again 1.” For some reason the automatic login uses the user name and password of the first account. When I fill the user name and password of the second account I can login successfully. I suspend the first account and also delete all saved passwords in the web browser but the problem with login still exists. Can you tell me how to fix this problem?
Thanks!
Very strange
Please provide your account(s) or domain(s) so that admin can see if issue can be replicated
Here is the accounts:
- epiz_32868414 and web page: donev.infinityfreeapp.com
- if0_37163761 and web page: parking.free.nf
When I try to login to the control panel for the account if0_37163761, I also get the “We are unable to log you in…” message.
Usually, this means that you reset the password of the account outside of the client area. You can view and edit your account’s password at any time through the client area. But if you change the password directly through the control panel, it will not be updated in the client area, and many features in the client area will stop working.
This also means that if you try to login with the details shown in the client area, it won’t work, because the password is incorrect.
To fix this, please go to your account in the client area and go to Account Settings. On that page, you can update your account password. Once you do that, you should be able to login through the client area again.
As for the client area mixing up account information, that seems very unlikely to me. I have no idea what the current state of the passwords for each account is, but based on what I see (especially the client area password being out of sync), I think it’s more likely that you mixed and matched some credentials somewhere that caused this issue.
That’s no problem of course, there are many passwords and unintuitive usernames, so I can see how it could happen.
But regardless, resetting the password from the client area should get everything aligned again.
This fix the problem!
Thank you very much for the support!
