Error Message

Directory listing.

Other Information

I tried to change my WordPress domain from onedaythreeautumns.42.web.io free domain to the one above. I added the custom domain in cPanel, and changed the site and wordpress url in wordpress. But I can’t access it anymore. I must have done something very wrong, but I don’t know what. I still have the files in file manager, under 42(dot)web(dot)io folder.

Please help.

Are you share you changed the nameserver for onedaythreeautumns.me? It may take ~48 HRS to propagate. Also, for the directory listing, if you don’t want other’s to see it, add this code in you htaccess file:
Options -Indexes

They’re epizy name servers, and they’re working since two weeks ago. Also got SSL on them from infinity, using the nameservers.

When I type the /wp-admin to both the 42web.io and .me domain, the page comes up as https://infinityfree.net/errors/404/

Your WordPress installation is located in the folder onedaythreeautumns.42.web.io/htdocs/, because that’s the folder of the website where it was first installed. But the domain onedaythreeautumns.me is linked to it’s own folder onedaythreeautumns.me/htdocs/.

So to move your website to the new domain, you’ll also need to move all WordPress files from the folder of your old domain to the folder of your new domain.

Or you can remove the .me domain and add it as a Parked Domain of you 42web.io domain.

I see! How do I move the files in the online file manager? I don’t see a ‘move’ option. Do I download them all, then re-upload them, and then delete them in the 42web.io domain?

You can use FTP
