Is there something worng with the filemanager?

Is there an issue with the hosting of the file manager? Why is it taking so long to attach the new files? When I edit a file, the changes are not shown immediately.

Welcome back.
If you are uploading multiple files, then you should use an FTP client like FileZilla online file manager isn’t great at doing it -

It sounds like a browser cache, please clear the browser cache by pressing a few times Ctrl + F5 while viewing your website.
If that doesn’t help (because some browsers are stubborn) then follow these instructions:

i did clear the catcha the cookies everything but still nothing

Do you use Cloudflare for your domain? If you do, then you might need to purge cloudflare’s cache in your Cloudflare dashboard:

If you don’t use Cloudflare, then can you try visiting the page in a private/incognito window? If that still doesn’t help, can you provide the page URL(s) where the old content is being displayed? Make sure to tell us what the expected changes are

I moved your topic to the right category. Reporting an issue with the hosting is still a support request, not an informal discussion.

As for the topic itself, there have been a few similar reports this week about people’s changes to website source code not having effect. This also appears to affect PHP pages, so it’s likely not related to any caching anywhere.

But I have not been able to reproduce the issue myself to investigate it further. And since you posted this in Informal and didn’t include the typical information of a support request, I cannot check it on your account either.

If I had to guess, my first thought would be that there is some delay or issue related to pushing changes from the FTP servers to websites. The file manager itself is very simple, it’s just an FTP client, so there is no way that it could have any delay in processing your changes.

I experience a delay sometimes when I make many edits. It takes time for the changes to reflect, or sometimes the page doesn’t update at all. Even if I remove the code and leave the page blank, it still shows the old content.( it happend now too )

Can you please share steps on how I can reproduce the issue? It’s clear that something is going on, but if’s very hard to get attention to fix an issue if I can’t verify that it exists.

After using the file manager for an extended period (approximately 4+ hours), I occasionally encounter an issue where major code changes made to a page—such as completely clearing or replacing the content—are not immediately reflected, even after saving. This includes scenarios where the entire code is deleted and replaced with blank content.

I’m sorry, but there is not a lot I can do with that information.

I want to try to reproduce it, but spending hours upon hours of “using” the file manager (whatever that may mean) so maybe some of the changes are not taking effect, doesn’t seem like a reliable or effective way to confirm the issue.
