Is filemanager.ai safe to use?

i was just wondering if filemanager.ai is safe to use because the ftp username and base64 password is sent over this unencrypted connection ?

I’ll admin, the login link system of the file manager is not the most secure one, but it’s proprietary software not owned by us, so there is only so much we can do.

The file manager supports HTTPS, and the file manager login link in the client area uses it. So if you login from the client area, your connection will be secure. But I see the link in the control panel doesn’t do that.

So I suppose the file manager is safe to use, as long as you connect to it from the client area, not the control panel.

I didnt know it supported https as ive always connected to it via cpanel , thanks

it should be easy to fix the cpanel link to use https no ?

I’ve asked iFastNet if they could fix it, and they did. So it should be secure for everyone now.
