I’m also not a fan of the new UI, to be honest. It’s way too flashy, and doesn’t auto adjust the theme to what my system sets (to be fair, this forum doesn’t have that too,) so yeah.

Monsta FTP will get removed soon. It’s still available at Monsta FTP as of now, but expect it to be gone at some point.

2 posts were split to a new topic: Lua support

The new GUI doesn’t work for me

I have the following error

message: Error loading files: FTP login failed

Thank you

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

I’ve aggregated most input discussed here and relayed it to iFastNet so they can address it.

There appears to be an ongoing issue with the authentication that results in the “FTP login failed” messages. iFastNet is working on that right now.

Please keep the feedback coming. MonstaFTP will not be coming back, so our best bet is improve this new file manager.

FTP is still king when it comes to big file operations. The file manager should be good for smaller changes. MonstFTP was so complicated it didn’t really work so well for it, but this file manager should do the job.

The FTP authentication issue should be fixed now!

We need an option to save without exit!

they litterally used AI to code. Return back the old file manager. The new one is full of bugs. Everyone hating on it

It does look like AI was used for the front end. But end of the day, the file manager is provided by IFastNet, and there’s not much Admin can do to change it. The old file manager is being decommissioned.

But under the hood, this one does seem to work a lot better that the old one, abait a few bugs.

You can still use Monsta FTP at

Not sure how long will it stay up tho

In theory that will be gone soon, but given the iFastNet track record of simply hiding stuffs instead of removing it completely there’s a good chance that it’ll stay there for a long time

I mean they paid for a lifetime monsta host license so

Admin says after few days and it’s gone in the main post, but I do agree with you that iFN will just leave monsta here and not talk about it

I’ve just logged on and it now seems they’ve updated yesterday’s update. Slightly better that it’s removed the alert when you save. 2 things would be really helpful if you can do them.

1 - the ability to save and keep the file open

2 - can you return the find function ctrl-f it’s disappeared and really helpful when working with large files

The html files tags were dropdown was a useful feature in the previous version. It is missing now.

please add this feature of drop down on tags
