# Installed wordpress site directs to directory listing

As you can see,it goes to directory listing.

That’s the link that I got after I installed wordpress on cpanel.

What’s wrong with this?

on my side is all right

before you go to editing pages think about this  
if you do not want to have a **/WP/** in the address (call WP with sub/domain)  
you can just delete the old installation, go back to Softaculous and install it again with the right directory. Double and triple check the “ **Directory** ” field in Softaculous, it should be **empty** if you don’t want a subdirectory!

softaculous - if you want to uninstall  
on the toolbar (up right) the box icon is located (the mouse above that icon will write “all installations”)  
click it  
and then [https://softaculous.com/docs/How\_to\_remove\_a\_installation](https://softaculous.com/docs/How_to_remove_a_installation)

I don’t know why but it shows up like this on my end :

I tried to open it on different browsers,clear cookies and caches,and even on mobile. However, it stil shows up like that.
