Infinityfree with specific purposes

Hello,
i registered a new free hosting with free domain and ssl certificate.
Im a web developer and i work on custom gaming cms. In next version im planning to create a web page for automatic updates and i want to connect my php script to download zip archives from my hosting in infinityfree. So my users which use my cms will download the zip archives from infinityfree.
So i need the hosting more for storage purposes i will not upload sites, html,js or databases.
My question is: this is possible or not?
So if not possible i will research for cheap hosting variant…
I 'm not want to pay for this stuff so i try with infonityfree.
The zip archives will be 1 or 2 most of the time with names like timestamp_version.zip and will be not more than 20mb.

Please, tell me if this is possible…

Hi and welcome to the forum! Free web hosting services like ours can’t be used for file storage purposes (and if you already read our Terms of Service you probably know that), so what you asked isn’t possible, also because of the file size limit we apply which is 10 MBs for files other than HTML, PHP, JavaScript (which are limited to 1 MBs) or .htaccess files, which are limited to 10 kBs. The file size limit I talked about will also be a problem for your packed CMS files.

Since you want to not pay for this type of usage, I think it’s worth it if you upload your packed CMS files on a service like Google Drive, Dropbox or MEGA and then link it from the website you’ll make for your CMS.

So if my zip archives are under 10mb its ok?

No, because IF is not a file hosting service.

Upload your files to a file sharing service like google drive or Box, and link to it from your website.
