InfinityFree and TinkerHost are the same?

I was evaluating free hosts and it seems InfinityFree and TinkerHost are the same, is that correct? The IP address for my site on both hosts starts with 185.27.134. And it seems byethost24 is also the same.

Hello

Both run off the same infrastructure (From iFastNet / Byet Internet), however the interface, and how the client area and control panels are designed from a UI perspective are a bit different. In essence, it’s the same service, just the UI is a bit different.

(I’m not going to compare the UIs and extra services as I created TinkerHost, and am therefore quite biased).

Ok thanks, so with that in mind, the speed of each service should be pretty much the same?

Exactly the same. Both services share the same servers.

Actually infinityfree is better because TH have 100gb bandwidth while infinityfree unlimited.

False. Both have the same bandwidth restrictions. One of us is wrong (it’s probably me, all the different numbers are confusing, and iFN very rarely tells anyone when something get changed)

I’m not 100% sure what the bandwidth restriction is, but both TH and IF have the exact same limit.

There is an ability to set bandwidth limits in the plan configuration. On InfinityFree, the bandwidth limit is set to Unlimited. And as far as I know, that means it’s actually unlimited.

I have never heard of anyone who ever ran into a bandwidth limit. But I also doubt there are many accounts that managed to use more than 100 GB bandwidth, without running into any other limits.

Other companies can set different (i.e. lower) limits, of course. So there may be providers using the same platform that do have different plan details.

I thought (and I could be wrong), that the 100gb was one of those hard set hidden limits, kind of like the 50 subdomain one where they let you mark it as unlimited, but it’s not actually unlimited.
