only InfinityFree start page is loaded

I am new in InfinityFree.
I have uploaded my webpage to htdocs with index.html as describe by help.
The problem is only the InfinityFree start page is displayed not my page.
Then I see if I use in browser ljcomunicacoes.com/index.html then it works.
But that is not the intention to use index.html in browser as you know only the domain name.
Also I tried to use .htaccess as I saw in some tips.
# start here
DirectoryIndex index.html
But that didn’t help as well.
What I need it to use only the domain name in browser not the index.htm
If someone might help.
