ok I added a new domain, that actually is a subdomain like the original one isn’t it?
Cause both are in infinityfree, now I should park the original on the new one,(I tried , it says is a subdomain and that I have to add it as a subdomain)

I read on the forum about the htaccess rules,
was saying it was working… I tried and it was redirecting well but actually was missing everything on the new url, and is probably due to the empty htdocs

I don’t think it will work on free hosting.
I think you are better off doing this

In short:

1. Add a new (sub)domain to your existing hosting account.
2. Move the website files to the directory of the new domain: How to move a website to a different directory
3. Update your website configuration to use the new domain name. How to do this depends on how your website is built.

You don’t need to move any databases. Also, do not create a new hosting account for the new domain name, unless you want to create a lot of extra work for yourself with no benefit.
