I can access my domain from a mobile connection, but not from my ISP. It just keeps loading and gives me the error ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. I’ve contacted my ISP and changed the IP address, but it still doesn’t work. Could there be some kind of IP address range being blocked or something like that?
It might be worth checking if you’re isp are blocking the domain too. That happens quite a lot
We do have systems in place that block suspicious IP addresses. But if you already got a different IP address, that all but proves that it’s not an IP block on our end.
Another possible explanation is that something on your end, like a firewall, is blocking access to our IP addresses. We pack accounts densely to keep our hosting free, and the volume of bad sites leads some to conclude that free hosting is only used for malicious purposes. The result is that some providers block access to our network completely, disregarding any damage caused to legitimate websites.
Could you maybe check your website on a different device or completely different network too?
I’ve tried accessing it on a laptop and a mobile phone with my ISP and I can’t, but I can access it from those devices with a different connection. That’s why I thought my IP address might be blocked somewhere. I can access it fine with a VPN. First, I wanted to know if Infinityfree could have blocked access, and then see if it was my ISP.
I would recommend asking your isp straight away.
Admin can ask IFastNet to check their side, but that can take a couple of days
Plus if your IP has changed and you still can’t access the site, it’s unlikely an IP block
