I don't want to brake any rules

I have after some experimenting managed to set up my custom domain and still have my email working at the same time. Now I have just two questions:

  1. Could I ask admin to please take a look at my setup and tell me that this is not braking any rules.

  2. I never really needed the free domain, but setting up my custom domain was not possible without having a free domain set up first. Now that my custom domain is working, is it ok to delete the free domain?

Unfortunately, this is not a service that admin offers. He’s only one person, and he runs the whole of InfinityFree, so doesn’t really have time for this sort of thing. However, looking at your site, I can’t see anything obvious that breakes the rules

100% fine  I did the same and its working for me

A quick look at your website doesn’t show any obvious policy issues for me. Is there anything specific on your website that you’re concerned might not comply to our rules? If you can ask a specific question, then we can more easily give you a specific answer.

Thanks for your reply. It is about the way I am pointing at the site. I had changed the nameservers to infinityfree, but that created problems for my mail server. So I changed them back to blacknight and instead changed the IP address for @ and www in the blacknight DSN manager. Now my DNS settings in blacknight are reactivated and everything works just fine.

It’s just that my infinityfree control panel / overview looked unhappy, telling me that my domain is using third-party nameservers.

That’s quite normal with custom domains. My domains all point to the cloud flare name servers

That’s more of an informative thing than an actual issue. Using third party nameservers is totally fine, as long as you’ve configured the correct DNS settings, and understand that the DNS settings in our panel don’t work anymore.
