I can’t install Elementor

Hello,

I tried to upload the element through filezilla, because through the admin it is no longer possible (the error happens: the update failed)

By filezilla I uploaded it but it is not possible to install. When trying to install the plugin, the error “there is a critical error on your site” appears

What to do?

We don’t recommend using elementor here as it requires a lot of resources, leading to a slower site and possibly suspension.

Someone else on this forum made a pretty extensive guide on what they did to speed up their size and reduce the footprint:

They ditched all the website builders and just use the Gutenberg editor with Kadence blocks for a bit of added versatility, and the result was really lightweight.
