I also want to add and correct things on your guide. Aren’t you supposed after downloading the zip to extract it and only upload the files inside the folder with a FTP client on the htdocs, instead of uploading the zip file directly and extract it (it may take years to do that sometimes), then create a database, direct your browser to http://yourdomain.com/install.php, follow the instructions and hope for the best?
