How long does it take to validate domain name for SSL certificate

I am trying to obtain a free SSL certificate for my website: http://iftekhar.rf.gd/. I have added the required CNAME records. How long does it typically take for the ‘Validate your domain name’ step to complete? Also, do I need to keep the tab open during this process?

generally its fairly quick. but I’ve had it take a couple of hours.

I’m not sure if you need to keep the tab open or not.

I always keep the tab open but it also works if the tab is closed

It has been like this for a while now. I already setup cname record.

If you’ve set up the CNamme records then try refreshing that page
