How do you make an installed script show up on the website?

I installed the Simple Machines Forum. But when I’m in Site Builder, there is nothing showing the forum. How do I make SMF show up on the website?

That depends where on your site you installed it.

if you put it straight in your htdocs folder, you should just be able to go straight to your site, and it should be there.

if you installed it into a subfolder (eg htdocs/forum) you’ll go to your site/forum (example.com/forum)

Site.Pro (the site builder) doesn’t support external pages like this, so you wont be able to find it in there.

I don’t get it. It’s a forum supplied by Infinity. How can it be considered “external”?
I do know that it is in a subdir of htdocs.

Site.pro is a 3rd party tool, that infinity free have an agreement to provide, and can only work with pages its generated.

The script installer allows you to install scripts and pages that are completly seperarte from Site.Pro.

So in the same way you can’t open a powerpoint presentation in microsoft word, you can’t open a page from the script installer in the site builder.

Oh ok. So, I’m back to my original question. Let me reword it though. What steps do I take so that the forum can be used from my website?

that depends where you installed it.

when installing you will have seen an option like this:

It was installed to the page you put in that last box

If you install a forum, or any other software for that matter, from Softaculous, you should be able to use it by simply accessing the URL you chose when installing the software.

This is completely independent from the website builder. The Site.Pro website builder is one way to build a website and using software from Softaculous is another way. You can’t really add your forum to your Site.Pro site because Site.Pro has no ability to link a forum.
