How Can I recover My Deleted Subdomain?

Hello everyone. I desperately need help.

I accidentally deleted this subdomain https://kantaj.epizy.com. I tried to recreate it but unfortunately I was unable to do that.

How can I recover the subdomain?

Fortunately, I have a backup of the Wordpress files.

I will really appreciate all the help I can get.

If free subdomain is not taken by other users, just add it back to your hosting account

Creation of new epizy.com subdomains is disabled, because the epizy.com domain is deprecated.

However, seeing how you’ve been using the domain for a long time already, we can make an exception for you. I’ve recreated the domain on the account it was on before.

When I tried to access the website http//kantaj.epizy.com, I got this error
"An Error Occurred

Services for this domain name have been disabled."

Then when I tried to access https://kantaj.epizy.com, I got the following error message:

"Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to kantaj.epizy.com. SSL peer has no certificate for the requested DNS name.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME_ALERT

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

Please help.

That’s caused by DNS cache. When you add a new domain name, it can take up to 72 hours for it to be visible everywhere.

Your domain has a GoGetSSL certificate installed that expired in April 2022. And browsers refuse to accept SSL certificates which are expired.

I see you’ve already ordered a new SSL certificate. Please install it to your account to replace this GoGetSSL certificate.

Thank you soooo very much for this explanation. That seems to be the reason why I can access the website from my office computer but getting error messages from my home computer.

I guess I will have to wait till I get home since I don’t want to use my office time for my personal website.
