_Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look._

Nobody on the forum can see why an account was suspended or reactivate it. For a suspension for abuse, the way to get the exact reason, a reactivation or a backup is a support ticket from your client area. The suspension page you quoted says the same.

The knowledge base explains the steps. Log in to the client area, click the suspended account in the list, click **Submit Support Ticket** , pick your domain and write your message. Put the same questions in the ticket: what the reason was, and a backup of your files and database if reactivation isn’t possible.

Staff review these tickets, and the article says that typically happens within a few hours.

Accounts suspended for abuse are never reactivated automatically, so waiting won’t change anything. The article also says that if the review finds your account is safe, it will be reactivated.

Here is the article on what to do after a suspension:

> [@My account is suspended, what can I do now](https://forum.infinityfree.com/docs?topic=49220):

> You’re probably looking at this article because your account was just suspended. If your account is suspended, it means you cannot login to your control panel, use FTP or visit your website. If you want to know what to do next, the first thing you need to know is why your account was suspended. There are three different suspension types. Suspended on request or inactivity If you used the Deactivate Account option in your client area or if your account has not received any visitors in 20-60 days…

This one covers why “abuse” suspensions are often vague. A common cause is hidden malicious code in a free theme or plugin, which the automated scanners can flag without you knowing:

> [@My account was suspended for no reason](https://forum.infinityfree.com/docs?topic=49217):

> Sometimes, an account may be suspended seemingly out of the blue, with a vague description like “abuse”. If you believe your account did not violate any rule, this lack of a good description may be mistaken for being suspended for no reason. However, this is simply not true. To state very clearly: INFINITYFREE DOES NEVER, HAS NEVER AND WILL NEVER SUSPEND ANY ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PROBABLE REASON. Any time InfinityFree suspends your hosting account, we do this for a reason. You may not b…

The suspension page also says that in some severe abuse cases, no further information or access to account data is provided. So I can’t promise a backup. Staff decide that in the ticket.
