Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look.
Nobody on the forum can see why an account was suspended or reactivate it. For a suspension for abuse, the way to get the exact reason, a reactivation or a backup is a support ticket from your client area. The suspension page you quoted says the same.
The knowledge base explains the steps. Log in to the client area, click the suspended account in the list, click Submit Support Ticket, pick your domain and write your message. Put the same questions in the ticket: what the reason was, and a backup of your files and database if reactivation isn’t possible.
Staff review these tickets, and the article says that typically happens within a few hours.
Accounts suspended for abuse are never reactivated automatically, so waiting won’t change anything. The article also says that if the review finds your account is safe, it will be reactivated.
Here is the article on what to do after a suspension:
This one covers why “abuse” suspensions are often vague. A common cause is hidden malicious code in a free theme or plugin, which the automated scanners can flag without you knowing:
The suspension page also says that in some severe abuse cases, no further information or access to account data is provided. So I can’t promise a backup. Staff decide that in the ticket.
