Help! I'm trying to change my domain name and having problems with DNS Status

Hi,

I’m trying to change my domain name and this happened. I don’t know how to fix it.

DNS Status

Your domain is using third-party nameservers

Please make sure you can configure the nameservers below yourself correctly, or change your domain to InfinityFree nameservers.

| Nameservers |

|
|----|----|

ns19.domaincontrol.com

ns20.domaincontrol.com

IP Address

13.248.243.5

76.223.105.230

I don’t know how to fix this. I need help please. Thank you!

Best,

Jacqueline

Did you just add your domain name to your account? And did you use CNAME verification to add it? Then note that CNAME verification only proves that your own the domain name, it doesn’t actually make your domain name use our hosting. That’s why changing the nameservers is our recommended option: it does both at once.

The easiest way to fix this is to update your domain’s nameservers to point to our hosting anyway. Please see this guide for more information:

And for the specific instructions at Go Daddy:

If you prefer to use Go Daddy’s nameservers for any reason, you can do so too, provided that you configure the right DNS records in their nameservers. But do know that this is an advanced option, that should only be used if you understand how DNS records work.
