# Having problems with my domain name from 1and1 and infinity free.

Whenever I create a subdomain on 1&1 on the domian tied to this host it sends me to one of those offer sites (but doesn’t redirect me to [securesignupoffers.com](http://securesignupoffers.com)). Not sure if this has to do with infinity free, or if it’s just something 1&1 does before the sub-domain finally goes through. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

If a domain name is pointing to one of our IP addresses but the domain name cannot be resolved on that IP, a parking page will be shown instead. So it’s very likely you’re looking at our parking page.
If you want to add a subdomain to your website and want to host it with us, you’ll need to add the subdomain through our control panel too. Only then can you upload your content to it.
