I think that if you want to change it, you can just change it. The attribute shown there is the Site Name attribute, which can be configured by setting the relevant OpenGraph tag in your HTML code.

I don’t know. Google appears to do this for search results of free subdomains, where they display the title of the base domain (great-site.net) instead of the title of the page/site itself. I don’t know why they do that, or what we can do to fix that. Looking at the relevant information from Google, it may help to define a site name through the OpenGraph tags on your site.
