Google Search Console is giving a “DNS error: Host unknown” when trying to index my site

Hello,
I have updated my domain hackershaven.tech to use InfinityFree nameservers (ns1.infinityfree.com and ns2.infinityfree.com) from BigRock.

However, DNS is still not resolving — Google Search Console is giving a “DNS error: Host unknown” when trying to index my site.

Can you please check if my domain is correctly pointing to InfinityFree and help me troubleshoot this DNS issue?

Please don’t hijack a remotely related issue to ask your question.

As for your question itself, the client area actually gives you the answer:

A quick WHOIS lookup tells me the status of your domain is serverHold, which indicates the domain name might be suspended.

Please contact your domain name provider about this, because the problem is with your domain name, not the hosting.

I’m going ahead and replying here to what you wrote in the email you sent.

The domain is no longer suspended now, and is resolving to our nameservers. However, since the domain was only reactivated in the last hour, it can still take a while for the domain to start working everywhere. This is how DNS works, and is not something we can do anything about.
