I wonder if anyone here has used this tool, I want to try it but it worries me that its written by the NSA

Just like any developer and project on the internet, you have to determine yourself if you trust them or not.

While I would not be surprised if there was some hidden backdoor in the system, unless you are someone the government is looking for information on, they are probably not going to use it on you.

Overall, I would trust this, but use the same level of caution with everything else you randomly download off the internet

I guess you’re right but I just don’t like the idea of a possible back door

I mean that goes for every software that ever exists, it’s not exclusive to government-driven programs.
