Is this error from FileZilla or anouther application?
Have you entered the hostname, username, and password as they appear in the client area?
This message from FILEZILLA on two different computers. The credentials work fine to access web-based FILEMANAGER. Jerry
But you don’t log into the filemanager seperately. that’s logged into automatically from your hosting account.
Ah, are you trying to connect to FTP with your account username and password?
in your dashboard, you’ll see a tab called “FTP details”
if you go into there it’ll give you your username (which will start “if0_”) and a password for FTP connections.
The message suggests that there is a DNS level problem with the FTP connection. Your computer tries to look up the FTP hostname, but gets no result.
The correct FTP hostname to use is ftpupload.net. If that one doesn’t work, you could also try to use ftp.infinityfree.com as FTP hostname instead. And if that also doesn’t work, you could try entering the IP address 185.27.134.11 directly.
Do any of those hostname options work?
