Just wanted to share a solution/ask a question.
For the last 2 days, FileZilla was failing to connect to the FTP server (ETIMEDOUT). I tried passive mode, active mode, nothing worked.
I read somewhere that some ISPs throttle FTP ports. So I used a free VPN to tunnel the connection, and suddenly FileZilla connected instantly!
Is this an issue with InfinityFree blocking certain ISP ranges, or is my ISP just bad? Just leaving this here in case anyone else can’t upload files.

In the event you actually want an answer to your question, InfinityFree does not block ISPs. The issue is probably a firewall somewhere between your device and the FTP server.

We do block access to specific IP addresses if we suspect that they are being used to attack our FTP server. We don’t blanket ban entire ISPs, that just makes no sense.
But we do know that there are quite a few ISPs that block access to our FTP server.
To answer your question: we’re not blocking entire ISPs, but I wouldn’t go straight to calling your ISP bad. Just overly cautious and having made a bad judgement call.
