Hello, After playing around with the InfinityBuilder yesterday I wanted to try the FTP connection, but I get an authentication failed: Status: Resolving address of [ftp.epizy.com](http://ftp.epizy.com) Status: Connecting to 185.27.134.11:21… Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message… Status: Initializing TLS… Status: Verifying certificate… Status: TLS connection established. Command: USER epiz\_20575098 Response: 331 User epiz\_20575098 OK. Password required Command: PASS \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* Response: 530 Login authentication failed Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server I already searched the forum, but couldn’t find an answer to solve my problem. Here is what I tried: - All 4 steps in [Help, I cannot connect to FTP!](https://infinityfree.net/support/i-cannot-connect-to-ftp) - [Change the encryption](https://forum.infinityfree.com/forum.infinityfree.com/discussion/comment/6123/#Comment_6123) - I tried an other client Added info: cPanel Statistics: - Plan: Infinityfree - FTP accounts: 1 / 1 FTP client: FileZilla Can someone please see what is the problem? ---

check your password from your account password because the password used is not the same password of the account ---

I can only find one place where I can change my password, at my Profile in the Client Area. That’s the password I’m using. ---

Same here… seems like the failure is in the ftp host itself. I too have input the correct hostname, username, password and even the ftp port. I use WYSIWYG web builder and it has built-in FTP uploader. Last month ago the last update I made into my website. the FTP server works very well even though I reconnecting to it every few moments to check the .php files are working. But now… I just maybe accessed it 3x then, the server… \*\*\* START OF PUBLISH \*\*\* Scanning publish folder… Found 34 file(s). Initializing FTP connection… Checking host… Host was successfully parsed. Connecting to [ftp.epizy.com](http://ftp.epizy.com)… Using PASV mode. Internet Exception Error 12002 Details: The operation timed out Closing FTP connection… Removing temporary files… Publish failed! \*\*\* END OF PUBLISH \*\*\* Above is the error showed by the WYSIWYG Web builder built-in FTP uploader. Then in FileZilla… the error is: Status: Resolving address of [ftp.epizy.com](http://ftp.epizy.com) Status: Connecting to 185.27.134.11:21… Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message… Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity Error: Could not connect to server Status: Waiting to retry… Status: Resolving address of [ftp.epizy.com](http://ftp.epizy.com) Status: Connecting to 185.27.134.11:21… Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message… Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity Error: Could not connect to server ---

Go to your Accounts list, click Manage next to the account you want to login to and then click the Password tab. There you’ll find the password for the specific hosting account, which is also the password you need to use for the FTP connection. ---
