Error with creating new subdomain

I checked your account and it’s already deactivated. What you call “paused” is exactly what “deactivated” is. Deactivated is not the same as deleted, it will take roughly 60 days after deactivation for your account to be fully deleted.

But as you were warned about during the deactivation process: deactivating an account will lock the domain names in place to the deactivated account, and you will not be able to use them on another account until the account is fully deleted. If you don’t want that, you can remove the domain name from the account yourself while it’s active, which takes effect immediately.

So if you want to host the domain on a different account, you can just reactivate the account and then remove the domain name from your account. You’ll be able to add it to a new account instantly.


However, I do wonder if there is an underlying problem that we should address instead. Looking at the account, you created it yesterday, removed one subdomain, added another subdomain, and deactivated and reactivated it multiple times within a span of two hours.

If you just setup your account and the website didn’t work yet: that’s completely normal. It’s caused by DNS cache, and it will resolve itself typically within 24 hours, and at most within 72 hours. If so, all you need to do is wait, and don’t touch your domain name in the mean time. All the shuffling around you’re doing with the domains is pointless at best, and resets the timer at worst.

So if this is the issue, then I recommend to reactivate the hosting account, and not do anything else. Don’t move it to another account, nothing is wrong with the current account. If you give it a day, your domain name will start working.
