Error when trying to upload index.html to a new account

Hi,

My website URL is:
SpaceAndGalaxies.great-site.net

It’s a new account that I just created, and when I’m trying to upload a simple file name index.html using the file manager, I’m getting an error:

Your FTP account quota has been exceeded.
The upload failed: Error during FTP upload, file not found: “htdocs/index.html”.

Why can’t I upload the file?

It’s size if only 1 KB.

An update,

It looks now like I managed to upload the file (to the Htdocs folder) but then I’m trying to open my site:

http://spaceandgalaxies.great-site.net

I’m getting the message:

404!

We couldn’t find that page.

Why?

Please try to clear your browser cache or check the page in Incognito Mode. It’s possible that you’re simply being redirected because that’s what your browser remembers.

Now it’s working for me also, maybe I just had to wait for some time before it’s available to the outside world.
