Error on site because Infinity keeps deleting index file

Every time I drag and drop my index file into the correct HTDOCS folder, it gets deleted.
The result is an embarrassing ’ 403 Forbidden’ message instead of my website.
The dashboard warns: “No index file was found for your website!”

I’ve done this dozens of times so I don’t think its a user error.

I also haven’t uploaded that much.

I expect someone must have encountered this.

Sometimes, when you upload a file, the upload is completed but the file is deleted immediately afterwards. One of 2 things is happening, either your file is triggering an automatic scan as some form of malware (unlikely, but not impossible) or its over 1mb in size, which is the limit for HTML and PHP files.

While I respect that, i would urge you not to put anything on your site that you don’t want to be public knowledge. End of the day, unless you’ve password protected your site, people can find it, and will see what’s on there.
