I got this error when going onto my website, this never happened before, someone please help me
The possible causes are these:
- You are pointing your domain to the wrong IP address. Please create new CNAME records, one with the name of @ pointing to the Main Domain that can be found on your Control Panel, and another one with the name of www pointing to @, and a MX record with the name of @, priority of 10 and server mx.epizy.com. Then delete all other records, except those ones that I written.
- Your IP is - and will be - DDoSed by some nerd that loves to make some Byet Internet/iFastNet Free Network IPs unavailable. The possible solution is to move your domain to another account.
Step 1 didn’t work, should I just wait a bit more or move the domain to another account and delete the existing one?
Your IP maybe is DDoSed by some nerd and blah blah blah (that’s the second option). So you need to move your domain by deleting it from your account and CloudFlare, use the byet.org nameservers (from ns1 to ns5) to add it to another account and re-add your domain to CF by changing the nameservers from byet.org ones to CloudFlare ones.
In doing this will I have to setup the website again from scratch?
because I kinda don’t want to use another month or so…
but i guess im still getting my website back
yes i will…
time to get back to work, thanks!
All website IP addresses are working fine at this time, but there are a few which have been unreliable in the last few days. But you can migrate your website without having to rebuild it completely.
These instructions are meant for migrating websites to InfinityFree, but also work fine when moving websites between accounts:
