is because we had cases when the plugins of that type blocked the owner’s IP (whether by user mistake or the program is not smart enough)

Basic security starts from email acc - It should be very well secured.
Because all depends on it, from bank account, smartphone, etc. and all the way to your existence on the Internet 
When someone gets access to your email than is no longer a problem to reset any password and hijack all what you own.
