Error Message

“Either your FTP account quota has been exceeded, or the file upload was
blocked by security.”

Other Information

My computer isnt blocking any of the uploads I am trying to do. The site is taking other files from the same folder except for a random 3 or 4. The site had taken these files without issue a couple hours ago, but I deleted them to make some changes. Now I cant get them uploaded with getting the annoying error each time. Pretty disappointed in the sites functionality.

Hello, and Welcome to the InfinityFree Forum!

It has been known that the Online File Manager is buggy, and randomly rejects files with this error. It is recommended to use a desktop FTP client, like FileZilla, to transfer files to and from your Hosting Account.

I tried refreshing the page and closing it completely before trying again, but that didn’t work. Is there anything else I can try to reset it so I can upload these, or is this a bug where I just have to try later?

Please read my above post. It has been known that the Online File Manager is buggy, the best way to transfer your files is to use an FTP client, like FileZilla.

to make it clear i will say again in your case try uploading one by one file dont upload all of them in one try creating folder on server and than upload one by one file in it since it will be more likely it wont get blocked

The server does not reject uploading folders of files, or multiple files at a time, unless the file-size is greater than the limits. In OP’s case, it is a Online File Manager Bug, not a server issue. It is recommended to use FileZilla to transfer files.

EDIT: Technically, the server will accept over-size files, but then the files are immediately removed from the server after. My wording sounded like the server doesn’t take files bigger than file-size limits, rejects them with error.
